Great photos! I love how animals can be so human 🙂 Outside my house, when I look through my window, I see some birds, and sometimes it seems like they’re a family! I really like when they look like they were hanging out together and the way they treat the others… Maybe, one day, I will see people acting in a good way. Just like them.

11/19/2011 at 22:58
Aww i used to have a pet lorikeet that acted like a cat – he’d come up to you looking for a pat or a scratch and of course the moment he got sick of you, he’d go in for the bite
11/19/2011 at 22:37
I viewed your portfolio – incredible landscapes and immensely powerful images. You are truly gifted with an eye for natural splender.

I adore birds, especially parrots. When I left home, I also left two lovely, curious and chatty buggies and I miss them so much, so thank you for these pictures, I love the colours, the angle and the way they remind me of my feathery friends! 🙂 ^_^
11/19/2011 at 17:09

11/19/2011 at 16:05
What fantastic photos! The one you took of the three birds together is simply amazing. I recently visited the Denver Zoo and they have a fantastic Lorikeet exhibit. I managed to take some good pictures, but you’ve really captured the beauty and affectionate nature of the bird.
11/19/2011 at 15:51
These photos are gorgeous. I went to Parrot Jungle here in Miami about 2 months ago and I was extremely scared to feed them. Mostly because I’m scared of birds but they are gorgeous.
11/19/2011 at 15:49

I am confused about whom to praise; the photographer who captured this or the camera which captured this or the eyes which we can see this….OR the God who has designed such creatures so immaculately !!!
Thanks for sharing these captivating pics.
11/19/2011 at 07:53
I’d say all of them, all of the above. But if you don’t thank the parrots, they might steal your crackers! 🙂

Beautiful and bright images, I love the photograph of the Rainbow Lorikeets hugging, we have an abundance of them where we live in Queensland thanks to the many native flowering trees growing in our suburb and watching their antics always makes me smile.

11/19/2011 at 00:04
those are lovely! i love birds myself and in fact, i own a pair of african lovebirds which have almost the same colors as the ones in the photo.. i named them lemon (the yellow one) and lime (the green one).. they are so cute and yes, noisy haha! but it’s nice hearing them tweet..
11/18/2011 at 23:52
Rainbow Lorikeets! I have two who come to my kitchen window daily. They are so cute. So full of personality – they even seem polite and friendly 🙂 Always make sure I have some bread for them.
11/18/2011 at 23:32
Lovely rainbow lorikeets; but such pests here in Western Australia, where they are ousting locally native parrots like 28s. They’re also so raucous and noisy in the bigger flocks, and can seriously upset exam time for students if they feed in trees nearby. That said, it’s hard to be mad at them for long when they look that beautiful.
11/18/2011 at 23:03
beautiful, colorful, absolutely fanstastic pictures.
11/18/2011 at 22:44
Cool birds! Do they live near you?
11/18/2011 at 22:38
I wish these little guys were free around my house, local zoo guys.
I have heaps of those birds around me. Not the last one, but the lorikeets.
11/19/2011 at 02:37
Love how colorful they are. Birds are smart too. The color combinations are just astounding.
11/18/2011 at 22:33

11/18/2011 at 22:00
The top 3 parrots are so beautiful but bit scary. But macaw is beautiful friendly
11/18/2011 at 21:54
I used to volunteer in the bird department at the Oklahoma City Zoo, and I worked a lot with the Lorikeets. I love your pictures of them. They hold such a special place in my heart. 🙂
11/18/2011 at 21:50
I love these birds – where do I get one?
11/18/2011 at 21:46
Love birds you have captured their character well. We used to feed the lorikeets on our back deck and got lots of similar shots.
11/18/2011 at 21:24

11/18/2011 at 20:48
Love the bird’s colors! How they seem to cuddle each other in the first photo is something I would have preferred seeing than them being used to destroy the greedy pigs’ fortresses! Kodus for not making the birds angry! Lol!
11/18/2011 at 20:39
Lovely colour. very nice.
11/18/2011 at 20:33
Ah, they make me homesick for Australia – beautiful!

So cute! Great photos! 🙂
11/18/2011 at 18:32
I love birds. We couldn’t have cats or dogs growing up so I always had birds. Now I miss my eclectus. 😦 I love the photos though.
11/18/2011 at 18:10
Hey, my first time here. Love your colourful birds! The first bird photos, are those Rainbow Lorikeets? There are plenty of them here in Australia. I love it when they rush to a tree in a frenzy as a group and noisily have their snacks and leave as a group!
11/18/2011 at 18:07
Such beautiful parrots & pictures! Love it.

Are those Rainbow Loris? When I was little I saw a picture in a book of these birds and names them my favorite animal. Their colors are so bright! Great photos.
